When life gets you down keep fighting!🏃🏻‍♀️

Workplace hazards.
I work with high risk foster children and the other day something happened that fractured my thumb causing me to be in a cast.

Unfortunately, the Miss World Canada is happening in two weeks and I’ll have to rock this cast.

At first it got me down and I was debating whether or not I should drop out of the competition.
But! It isn’t about winning for me it’s about helping the kids I work with, showing there is always a light at the end of tunnel. Most importantly! That girls who participate in pageants are not fake. How more real can you get then an injured contestant.

When I decided to not drop out I was given the wonderful idea to bedazzle my cast. I love it.
Therefore, I’ll be the girl on stage with the shinny cast on my left forearm 😚
